PM Narendra Modi’s recent foreign tour in September 2024 included key visits to Singapore and Brunei. In Singapore, he met top leaders, including President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, and engaged with business leaders to strengthen economic ties between India and Singapore. He also explored collaborations in technology and business innovation.

Before Singapore, PM Modi visited Brunei Darussalam, celebrating 40 years of diplomatic relations between India and Brunei. He had a meeting with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and visited cultural landmarks such as the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque​
